[when she was about to exit the house to play outside, Rin found a package on her doorstep, which usually means MORE CLOTHES! So, eagerly, she brings it inside. Oh, did it shake a little when she picked it up? No, her hands must have slipped. Geez, it's heavy though. Is this really more outfits?

She sets it down on the middle of the floor and untapes the lid. Out jumps this puppy, almost knocking her over.]

...Wah!?

[it takes a few minutes for her to register where she has seen this dog before...]

[Outside, early afternoon]
[It seems the puppy has taken this opportunity, before this new family buys a leash and stuff, TO ESCAPE! Rin is chasing the puppy around the house/down the street.]

Len-len! Get back here! Or sit! ♪

[he decides not to do either, because what is this place, there are things to sniff!!]

Damn it!! ♪


[Later, phone]
Hey, guess what... I got Len back~!  ♪

[There is a BARK BARK! into the receiver. Rin sounds sheepish.]

Ehe ... Just kidding. That's not really true. It's just a dog that once played the role of Len. He was a lot more behaved when he was Len though. Mph...

... Speaking of which, Miku-nee, did you get anything back from a song? Or maybe it's just because I thought I was Pu-Rin a few weeks ago.... ♪

[Well, at least the puppy has gotten itself tired out and she can just sit there petting it. It's kind of nice having a Len to hug, even if it's the wrong Len... she needed some cheering up anyway.]

[the dog tolerates a small amount of petting before trying to jump on Sealand. Woof woof! Hi, kid PS why do you smell like saltwater?! THIS IS FASCINATING but Rin shows up shortly to yell at him.]

[Not only does he smell like saltwater, he feels about as hard as metal and concrete if you're jumping at him. Weird kid, Sealand. But he pats the dog on the head.]

You have a dog?

Well, I do now! ♪

[The dog is so confused, it backs away from the headpat a little. Then again, Rin was rather more solid than the average human too. Both of the kids here are weird!]

What's his name? Did you find him or something?

[roadroller]

No, I got him in the mail, but he's not QUITE mine. I think he's just here because we did a video together. I'm calling him Lenlen because in the video, he was supposed to be Len as a dog. And I don't know what his real name was. ♪

[micronation]

...That sounds like a weird video.

[roadroller]

I'll be honest, it's one of the weirdest ones I've ever done. Fun though! ♪

[micronation]

Well, Lenlen seems like a pretty cool dog, at least.

[roadroller]

Yeah! Since he was in show biz, I bet he secretly knows a lot of tricks. ♪

[micronation]

Oh yeah? Hey, Lenlen, play dead!

[roadroller]

[Lenlen whines and flops over. He is quite good at that trick, since dog!Len did die in the story...]

Ehe! ♪ Good boy.

[Haha that's cool.]

You should get him dog treats and stuff.

Yeah! Yosuke-nii said he'd take care of all of that stuff after work. That's why he doesn't even have a leash yet. ♪

[oh what puppy doesn't get any treats? Well fine, he's getting back up then]

[Crouching down to pat him in lieu of treats.]

Oh, he's my fake dad, but we decided he should be my big brother instead. ♪

[she'll correct him if he does it again. Anyway the puppy accepts the pats. They are almost as good!]

I guess that makes more sense than being a dad. His name sounds kinda weird though.

I thought it was Yosuke-nii.

The "nii" means "big brother." ♪
