[when she was about to exit the house to play outside, Rin found a package on her doorstep, which usually means MORE CLOTHES! So, eagerly, she brings it inside. Oh, did it shake a little when she picked it up? No, her hands must have slipped. Geez, it's heavy though. Is this really more outfits?

She sets it down on the middle of the floor and untapes the lid. Out jumps this puppy, almost knocking her over.]

...Wah!?

[it takes a few minutes for her to register where she has seen this dog before...]

[Outside, early afternoon]
[It seems the puppy has taken this opportunity, before this new family buys a leash and stuff, TO ESCAPE! Rin is chasing the puppy around the house/down the street.]

Len-len! Get back here! Or sit! ♪

[he decides not to do either, because what is this place, there are things to sniff!!]

Damn it!! ♪


[Later, phone]
Hey, guess what... I got Len back~!  ♪

[There is a BARK BARK! into the receiver. Rin sounds sheepish.]

Ehe ... Just kidding. That's not really true. It's just a dog that once played the role of Len. He was a lot more behaved when he was Len though. Mph...

... Speaking of which, Miku-nee, did you get anything back from a song? Or maybe it's just because I thought I was Pu-Rin a few weeks ago.... ♪

[Well, at least the puppy has gotten itself tired out and she can just sit there petting it. It's kind of nice having a Len to hug, even if it's the wrong Len... she needed some cheering up anyway.]

Well, not exactly - he's only mine in a song series I did. You know, acting? I guess the ones in charge can't tell fiction from reality! ♪

I see. So he's a stage prop. A very cute one. [Minato seems to have taken a liking to it.]

He was in Len's "Stealing is a Doctrine?," and my "No Need to Worry!!"

I'll have to look them up.

[When he gets home, of course. No internet access in Mayfield.]

Good idea. Those songs are part of a 33-part series, so it might not make a lot of sense if I sang it alone.

So... are you a dog person, Minato? ♪

I guess so.

We had a dog at the dorms back home.

[the puppy is starting to wander off again and sniff things, but at least it's not bolting off.... yet. Rin keeps an eye on it while listening to Minato]

Yeah? What kind of dog?

I think Lenlen is a German shepherd... ♪

A shiba-inu. He used to live at the local shrine, as its protector.

Definitely. He even fought off monsters.

Shadows are common back home, although only a few people are aware of them.

I think there either should be 13 hours or there should be 12, an hour shouldn't come and go as it pleases. ♪
