[going for the head was a good idea in theory - but unlike humans who keep their brain there, it's not as much of a vital spot, more like the equivalent to taking out the computer's monitor. But she nevertheless has a rather durable metal skull for the sake of keeping the head's shape right, so he mostly just succeeded in breaking her eyes - in fact one of them flew out from the force of the impact and bounced upon hitting the ground. She staggers back with a shriek - and her arms suddenly wrap around her chest in a self-hug. A built-in defense reaction.... good sign that this contains the parts that she truly needs to protect.]
